Exterior Features that Impress

The sleek flowing lines yet bold and sturdy design on the outside is one the exterior features that instills confidence in the vehicle. The clean modern design with stylish front grille doesn’t fail to impress. The barebones SE trim comes with standard set of features such as the chrome grille, bodycolor power adjustable side mirrors. Interior Arrangement & Features

The interior of the Accent is arranged for a cozy fit for high comfort and cloth seating surfaces as standard across the trims. Some of the standard features you will find across all the trims are a 6-way adjustable driver seat with height adjustment, 60/40 split fold down rear seat back, air conditioning, cruise control with steering mounted controls and a new remote keyless entry with panic alert. The Limited has a proximity key with push button start in addition to this along with other exclusive features such as heated front seats and an Auto temperature control with defogging system. A rearview camera is standard across the trims as well.

Infotainment

The base SE trim gets a 5-inch color touchscreen with AM/FM and 4-speakers. The higher trims all comes with a standard 7-inch touchscreen display with AM/FM, 6-speakers and Apple CarPlay and Android integration capability out of the box. Smartphone, USB and MP3 Auxiliary jacks and USB charging ports are added features with dual USB charging facility on the upper two trims.

Safety Features

Some awesome safety features common on all trims are Vehicle Stability Management, Electronic Stability Control, Traction Control. Hill Assist Control is standard on upper two trims and available for the base trim. Driver’s Blind Spot Monitor comes on the SE and Limited and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist is a feature that’s exclusive to the Limited.

Performance Aspects

The powertrain on the Accent is basically a 1.6-Liter 4-cylinder, 16-valve DCVVT engine that’s mated to a 6-speed manual transmission on the SE and 6-speed Automatic on the higher trims, all working on a front wheel drive system. Riverside Hyundai dealerships highlight that 2019 Hyundai Accent features an excellent EPA estimated 28/37/31 mpg (City/Hwy/Combined) mileage with the manual transmission and a slightly better 32 mpg (Combined) using the Automatic transmissions.
